West Ham face a difficult period in the weeks ahead as they’re set to begin an extremely testing run of fixtures, with Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal all on the horizon.

The Hammers remain in the Premier League’s bottom three and are still without a victory under David Moyes, having been drubbed 4-0 by fellow strugglers Everton in midweek.

Whilst the East London side will be focused on improving their displays on the field, it also seems they’re set for a battle off it asĀ ESPNĀ states Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a swoop for Manuel Lanzini.

The 24-year-old Argentine has impressed since moving to England and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is looking at his compatriot to add more creativity to his side, who have seen a dip in form over recent weeks.

Whilst West Ham won’t want to lose the South American in January, Lanzini could push for a move as a transfer to Tottenham would potentially bolster his chances of making Argentina’s squad for the World Cup next summer.
