West Ham face a crucial game this weekend prior to the November international break, as the Hammers host Liverpool at the London Stadium.

Slaven Bilic enters the game under a lot of pressure, having seen his side throw away a two-goal lead last weekend to draw 2-2 with Crystal Palace, and the Hammers sit one point above the drop zone- and could finish in the relegation zone come the end of the weekend.

Welcoming Liverpool to East London provides another stern test for the Hammers and the omens do not look good for a side that has struggled to complete the basic tasks this season, whilst Bilic also has a defensive injury crisis to worry about.

West Ham skipper Mark Noble is intent on rallying the troops ahead of this weekend’s clash, as he discussed the importance of the game. Speaking to the club’s official website, the midfielder said:

“With where we are in the table, what happened at Crystal Palace last weekend and the fact we go into the final international break of the year after it, there is a massive motivation to win Saturday’s game.”

“Liverpool at home is a big game – it always is. We’re at home, we’ll have the crowd behind us and we’ve got to roll our sleeves up, look forward to the game and do the basics right.”

West Ham clash with high-flying Watford after the international break, before two crucial matches against fellow strugglers Leicester City and Everton.
