West Ham are looking for changes in January to bolster their underperforming side, as David Moyes looks to see his side fight away from the Premier League’s relegation zone.

The Scottish boss is yet to taste victory with the Hammers, losing to Watford and then drawing with Leicester City, but considerable improvements have been shown and West Ham will be confident ahead of Wednesday night’s crucial clash with fellow strugglers Everton.

With Manchester City providing a stern test at the weekend, the clash against Everton is the ideal opportunity for West Ham to bring an end to their winless run and provide a boost ahead of a difficult tie with the Premier League leaders.

Whatever the circumstances though, the January transfer window will be decisive as the Hammers look to strengthen their former side and respected independent fan site Claret & Hugh state Moyes will be handed a £20m budget.

That figure could be raised by sales from the London Stadium, with Diafra Sakho, Adrian and Arthur Masuaku linked with exits in recent weeks, so Moyes should therefore have enough to work with in the New Year.
