West Ham have turned a new chapter in their book in life at the London Stadium, with Slaven Bilic sacked as the club’s manager on Monday morning after a sequence of events over the course of the weekend saw the Hammers slip into the bottom three.
A swift decision to make a change was made, after a series of two wins from 11 Premier League matches, and David Moyes has been given the task on saving the club from relegation and providing a platform to build upon in the coming years.
Whilst fans were pleased to see the back of Bilic after a spell of poor form, his impact at West Ham is significant and the supporters will fondly remember the historic last ever campaign at Upton Park- and the dramatic victory over Manchester United in the stadium’s last home match.
