West Ham have found themselves in a big heap of trouble this season, slipping into the relegation zone ahead of the November international break, and David Moyes has been tasked with steadying the ship.
The Hammers relieved Slaven Bilic of his position a week ago and Moyes has started on what he hopes will be a revival, now appointing Stuart Pearce and Alan Irvine amongst his backroom staff.
The experienced pair will hopefully help to shore-up the Hammers defence and improve in the attacking third, ares where West Ham have struggled to find stability in the past few seasons.
West Ham’s appointments have certainly led to some amusement though, with the three big-name British coaches coming in leading to many supporters taking to social media and referencing Brexit- complete with the Hammers irons in place of an X.
Whether the Hammers leave the Premier League as Britain leaves the European Union remains to be seen but there certainly seems to be a plan in place.
