After Friday night’s 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, West Ham slipped down the table and now find themselves only above the drop-zone on goal difference, with Leicester City leapfrogging them this weekend after their win against Swansea.
The defeat was West Ham’s fifth from nine Premier League matches and, coming at home against a newly-promoted side, the wounds left by the defeat are far more severe and it’s led the future regarding manager Slaven Bilic to become under even more threat.
From the boardroom, the message is that Bilic will have two more games to turn things around but this isn’t a new situation for the club, as the Croatian boss was linked with an exit last year, had his future assessed in the summer and then again prior to the end of the transfer window.
When this happens consistently, it usually suggests that it’s time to make a change and fans on social media are making their feelings clear, with it obvious they’ve had enough of the troubles they’ve endured.
I've backed him and backed him. I wish I'd never have to say this but Bilic, it's time to go.

Me too. It’s time, just gutted, so wanted it to work out for him.

I’m with you on that……..always thought he should stay and he’d get it right but after that he has to go

I’m the same. How can you justify that?

Looked a pretty strong team, on paper, but we were pathetic. Sorry Slav, time to go.
