West Ham United keeper Joe Hart has slammed his critics following his Man of the Match display for England against Slovenia.

Hart was the stand-out player for Gareth Southgate’s side at Wembley on Thursday night, making a number of crucial saves in the Three Lions 1-0 win which saw them qualify for the World Cup in Russia next summer.

The Manchester City loanee has come under plenty of criticism in the past few seasons, which has continued into the start of his career at the London Stadium, but the Englishman remains adamant he has no time for them and remains focused solely on his own game.

“You think I care about them?” said Hart speaking on his critics. “I’d have a big problem if I cared about what anyone said apart from those in the dressing room.”

Hart also went on to praise his England team-mates for their hard fought win in the capital, insisting the result was all that was important on the night.

“The guys were brilliant today. We wore them down.”
