West Ham’s start to the new Premier League campaign has hardly been ideal, with the Hammers having just seven points to their name from seven matches; winning just twice since the start of the new season.

This is despite the impressive capture of the quartet consisting of Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic, all of whom arrived in the close-season, and it’s clear that there is still work to be done.

West Ham are likely to be active in the transfer market once again when the window reopens in January and they may stick to the plan they laid out in the summer- signing players with proven Premier League experience.

This helps the Hammers’ avoid the troubles they had last year, where a wealth of signings failed to settle into the English game, and it certainly makes sense for them to pursue the same sort of transfer signings in January.

Here, we’ve identified three Premier League misfits they should be looking to sign. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
