Despite finally getting off the mark in the Premier League, there has been no let up for criticism directed at Slaven Bilic.
The euphoria of striking late to earn a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield has passed and Hammers fans continue to question Bilic’s decision to deploy Javeir Hernandez from the wing.
The former Manchester United striker, renowned from his goal-poaching prowess netted 11 Bundesliga goals for Bayer Leverkusen last season – none were scored operating on the wing. In fact, the Mexican has rarely been utilised from the flanks and Monday’s performance was evidence that he shouldn’t be.
Chicharito failed to get into the game and was substituted by Andre Ayew on the hour.
Ayew instantly made an impact, providing an assist for one and scoring the other to give as West Ham took home all three points.
The fans have taken to social media and showed their fear for Hernandez’s long-term future…

I'm not sure if Hernandez was carrying a knock which he picked up early in the first half, my worry was the roll that Bilic played him in
