Just like all Hammers fans will be watching Javier Hernandez, all United fans will be doing the same with this man. The £90 million forward has come under a lot of scrutiny in recent months, mostly due to the phenomenal fee United paid for him, and things will be no different on Sunday.
The Belgian had a fairly solid pre-season with his new club, netting a couple of times, and got off the mark officially for Jose Mourinho’s side with his goal in the UEFA Super Cup defeat to Real Madrid. Jose Fonte is likely to be the man tasked with stopping the former Everton powerhouse in the absence of Winston Reid. It’s a mammoth task, and Fonte will need to produce a display far greater than he ever has done in a West Ham shirt thus far to pull it off.
