Hernandez SHOULD be a guaranteed success at West Ham. A great goalscoring record in the Premier League with Manchester United, as well as in the Bundesliga with Leverkusen, what could possibly go wrong? He even has done it on the international stages, standing as Mexico’s all time top scorer with 49 goals.
That should however, remains a should. The last thing West Ham fans would want is for Hernandez – who ironically has scored only once since Christmas – to flop and they have no second option.
