Three reasons West Ham should revitalise their interest in Michy Batshuayi

|

Alvaro Morata

Batshuayi’s Chelsea career has been thrown totally up in the air in recent days after the Blues announced the big money signing of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

The Belgian played second fiddle to Diego Costa for almost all of last season, and it was thought that with the controversial Spaniard’s imminent departure from Stamford Bridge, Batshuayi would be the man to lead the line for Antonio Conte’s side this season. No such luck however, and the striker himself as even said he does not wish to spend another season on the bench, opening the door for West Ham to make their move.
