Payet Replacement
West Ham have ultimately failed to replace Dimitri Payet after the Frenchman left the club in January, however given there was little time to do so they can be forgiven. This summer however, it is a must for the club if they do not want another relegation dog fight.
Arnautovic is gifted, however Shaqiri is more so, and arguably has a skill set more similar to that of Dimitri Payet. Excellent delivery from the dead ball; a rifle of a left foot and the ability to lose defenders in a glance make him a dangerous attacking player on all fronts. He does not find the net as often as he perhaps should, but given a more central role may do so.
