West Ham have rejuvenated their interest in England and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, says the BBC.

The Hammers were said to have given hope of signing Hart earlier this summer, however new reports suggest Slaven Bilic still wants to sign 30-year-old.

Hart spent last season on loan with Serie A Torino after having been frozen out of Manchester City by manager Pep Guardiola, and following the Sky Blues’ signing of Benfica keeper Ederson this summer, it appears Hart’s career at the Etihad is all but over.

Should West Ham want to sign the keeper however, they face competition from City’s rivals Manchester United, with conversations between the two clubs over the transfer of the player having reportedly already having taken place.

City want to off-load Hart on a permanent deal, rather than another loan move, in order to recoup some of the record £35 million spent on Ederson last month.
