Toulouse forward Martin Braithwaite has issued a ‘come and get me’ plea to Premier League and Bundesliga clubs after stating he will leave Ligue One this summer.

The Denmark international was reportedly the subject of two bids from the Hammers last year, and speaking to DR Sporten (translated by Talksport), the 25 year old said he feels the time has come to move on to a new challenge in his career:

“The time to leave Toulouse has come. It will happen this summer. The summer is long. I do not know when a decision will fall, but I remain calm. The Bundesliga and the Premier League are great leagues and interesting for me.”

Braithwaite is by no means a prolific goalscorer but his ability to play out wide as well as through the middle make him a useful squad player. For Toulouse last season, he scored 12 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions, but 13 of those games saw him play out on the left wing.

He has spent the last four years in France after moving from Esbjerg fB for £1.7m in 2013. He has racked up a total of 136 games in Ligue One, scoring 36 times and providing 13 assists.
