Juventus full back Kwadwo Asamoah has handed in a transfer request, according to calciomercato.com.

West Ham and Galatasaray are reportedly after the Ghanaian international, and it seems he is heading towards the exit door if his request for a move has been reported accurately.

Asamoah is hugely experienced, having joined Juve from Udinese in 2012, making 130 appearances in all competitions for the Bianconeri in the past five years. He also has 69 caps for his country.

The 28 year old has however found it hard to break in to Juventus’s first team over the last few years with injuries curtailing his game time. He has also faced competition from Patrice Evra and latterly Alex Sandro for a place in the starting eleven.

The Ghanaian however still managed to play 24 times for Juve last season, making 21 starts in all competitions. His flexibility in playing a number of different positions including left back, left wing and central midfield makes him an invaluable player for his boss Max Allegri, and he would also prove a valuable asset to whoever signs him this summer.
