Southampton playmaker Dusan Tadic could be a replacement for West Ham winger Robert Snodgrass, according to the Evening Standard.

The Serbian has been heavily linked with a move to the London stadium in recent days and Standard journalist Ken Dyer has now put some substance to the rumours by suggesting the 28 year old is indeed a target.

Tadic made 44 appearances in all competitions last season, and was an integral part of Claude Puel’s side that reached the EFL Cup final, and finished eighth in the Premier League.

He can play as a number ten or out wide on either wing, and with Michail Antontio and Manuel Lanzini already offering good competition in those positions, the future of January signing Snodgrass looks far from certain.

In 15 matches for the Hammers, the Scottish international failed to score and provided only two assists, starting just one of the last five league games under Slaven Bilic.
