Besiktas are interested in signing West Ham forward Enner Valencia, according to Fotospor (via the Daily Star).

The Turkish publication report that the club’s president Fikret Orman will be in London this week to discuss deals for a number of players. On the list are Watford’s Obbi Oulare, Sunderland’s Jeremain Lens, Arsenal’s Joel Campbell and the Hammers striker.

The Ecuardorian international was loaned out to Everton last season but despite impressing when he was given chances by Toffees boss Ronald Koeman, his lack of game time meant he only scored three goals in 30 games (13 of which were starts).

Everton turned down the opportunity to sign the 27 year old after failing to activate their purchase option of £11m, leaving the Hammers with a player deemed surplus to requirements by manager Slaven Bilic. It seems very unlikely the club will be able to recoup the £12m they spent to sign the forward back in July 2014.
