Former West Ham loanee Robbie Keane showed the world he’s still got the goods as he bagged a brace for Dimitar Berbatov’s ‘Manchester United All Stars’ earlier this week.

Berbatov assembled the side – which included the likes of Paul Scholes, Patrice Evra and Stylian Petrov – to face Luis Figo’s own all star XI as part of a charity match for two children’s charities chosen by the respective captains.

Juventus legend David Trezeguet opened the scoring for Figo’s side early on with a fantastic volleyed effort at the back stick, only forĀ Carlos Marchena to find his own net to level the scores.

Trezeguet and Keane then traded blows, with the Frenchman first adding his second of the game before the Irishmen scored an easy finish to once again level the scores. Former Valencia star Simao made it 3-2 to Figo’s men, before Keane again found the net with a trademark finish to make it even spoils for the two sides.

The score however was irrelevant of course, with all proceeds going to charity and spectators getting a real blast from the past watching some of the biggest stars of days gone by strut their stuff once again.

Keane spent half a season on loan in East London in 2011, making 10 appearances and scoring 2 goals, however was unable to prevent the Hammers from relegation.
