West Ham will wait until the start of next season before considering giving manager Slaven Bilic a new contract, according to the Evening Standard.

The Croatian is subject to interest from Turkish club Fenerbahce but the Hammers are said to be relaxed about the situation despite Bilic heading in to the final year of his contract.

Although it is believed West Ham owners David Sullivan and David Gold are not looking to make a managerial changeĀ over the summer, there is also no clamour currently to offer a new deal.

After a difficult second season as manager, Bilic it seems will be given another chance to see whether the mitigating circumstances of moving to the London Stadium and the changes in squad personnel had an adverse effect on the team’s performances.

Bilic has struggled to replicate the type of form which led to the Hammers finishing seventh last campaign. The club are currently on 42 points and sit 12th in the Premier League.
