West Ham manager Slaven Bilic will be questioned about the club’s poor injury record by the Hammers board in the summer, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The club have suffered ten serious injuries in the a space of a year, with Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho, Michail Antonio and Angelo Ogbonna having all spent long spells on the touchline this campaign.

Focus will be centred on Bilic’s fitness coach Miljenko Rak. A former Olympic athlete, he has worked with Bilic for over a decade, being a key member of the West Ham manager’s backroom staff for Croatia, CSKA Moscow, Besiktas and at West Ham.

It is believed that West Ham won’t force any changes to Bilic’s support team but the post season review will ask questions about the club’s fitness programmes. Reading manager Jaap Stam has been one such critic of Bilic and Rak’s training methods after commenting that on loan West Ham star Reece Oxford was shocked by the intensity of training with the Royals.
