West Ham’s move for Michy Batshuayi depends on what happens to Chelsea striker Diego Costa, according to the Mirror.

The Spaniard has been linked with a move to the Chinese Super League where he could earn £650,000 a week, and if he does depart for the Far East, the Blues will have to fund a bid for their top target Romelu Lukaku.

The Everton forward is rated at £100million and it seems Chelsea would need not only the funds from the sale of Costa but also that of Batshuayi to finance the bid.

Chelsea signed the Belgian international from Marseille for £33million last summer, beating the Hammers who had also bid for the 23 year old. Despite scoring a crucial goal against West Brom on Friday to seal the Premier League title, it seems Batshuayi will be allowed to leave if the right price is right.

The striker has scored six goals in 25 appearances this season but has not started a single Premier League game under manager Antonio Conte.
