Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is considering selling midfielder Jack Wilshere for £20million, according to the Mirror.

The 25 year old has just a year left on his contract and doesn’t look like signing a new deal to remain at the club for longer. Currently on loan at Bournemouth, the England international looks to be considering his options with West Ham reportedly keen.

The Sun reported a couple of weeks ago that the Hammers could break their transfer record by offering £30million for Wilshere but the Mirror suggest the player could be available for less as Wenger looks to build a sizeable transfer war chest to revamp his squad.

It was also reported by the Sun that West Ham have asked Wilshere’s entourage about a move to the London Stadium and that, although they weren’t given a ‘yes,’ their enquiry was also not rejected out of hand.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic recently commented on the Wilshere rumours before the Hammers’ 3-0 defeat to Arsenal, and was generous with his praise for the midfielder suggesting that a bid in the summer is not beyond the realms of possibility.
