West Ham winger Michail Antonio is seeking a new deal to match the contract given to January signing Jose Fonte, according to the Mirror.

Antonio is the Hammers’ top goalscorer with nine goals this season, but he is currently paid less than Fonte who signed a £70,000 a week, one and a half year deal when he moved from Southampton for £8million.

Since making the switch to the London Stadium, Fonte has started six matches for West Ham but they have yet to keep a clean sheet with the 33 year old in the starting eleven.

Antonio is believed to want at least a similar deal to Fonte, while West Ham are also bracing for other stars to make the same demands. Winston Reid is reportedly the first of those to agree a new contract, with the 28 year old centre half set to sign an extension to a deal which is currently set to expire in 2021.
