Juventus are “open” to the possibility of selling striker Mario Mandzukic at the end of the season, according to the Sun.

The Croatian has been linked with a move to West Ham over the past few months and the Hammers will see the latest news as a boost to their hopes of signing the 30 year old in the summer.

Turkish newspaper Fanatik reported on Monday that Besiktas are set to rival any club for the forward, but much will depend on the player himself.

Mandzukic is still a regular for Juve under manager Massimiliano Allegri, and it is doubtful he will prepared to leave Turin unless he is deemed surplus to requirements by the Italian side.

It was anticipated that the record signing of Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli at the start of the season would push Mandzukic out the exit door but he has switched to playing a wider role to accommodate the Argentinian in a central position.

The Bianconeri’s reported pursuit of Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez could however change his circumstances once again but the Chilean international’s future is still very much up in the air.
