West Ham winger Sofiane Feghouli says he expects improvement from the Hammers after a run of five games without a win in the Premier League.

In those five matches, West Ham have conceded ten goals, with no clean sheet since mid January when they beat Crystal Palace 3-0 at home. Speaking to the club’s official website, Feghouli believes that although they have lost their last three games by the odd goal, they need to be more consistent, and better at the back, to improve their current form:

“We haven’t won in our last five games now, so we really need to work on becoming more consistent. There’s plenty of room for progress in this team. It’s down to all of us and the staff to do better. We haven’t won recent games due to fine margins.”

“We also need to improve defensively because we’ve been conceding too many goals. Our target is to finish in the top-half and to entertain our supporters.”

Feghouli was benched for the 3-2 defeat to Leicester City last weekend but prior to that, he had started eight league games in a row, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

After the international break, the Hammers will face Hull City iat the Kcom stadium. The last time they played they won 1-0 but it was an unconvincing display with the post being named man of the match by supporters.
