West Ham will re-evaluate Slaven Bilic’s position as manager in the summer, according to the Mirror. The newspaper also reports that they believe former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is leading the candidates to replace the Hammers boss.

The club’s owners David Sullivan and David Gold are not yet convinced of the need that Bilic must be sacked, and it could be the case that the Croatian is given another chance by the board to improve the club’s fortunes next season.

West Ham have endured a disappointing campaign and despite an upturn in form in recent weeks, the 4-0 loss to Manchester City at the weekend has reinforced the sense among fans that the club is going backwards rather than forwards under the current management.

It is believed that like supporters, the board are very concerned by the poor transfer business conducted by the club last summer, and an improvement will be expected when they seek a new goalkeeper, central midfielder and striker at the end of the season.
