Everton considered a move for West Ham goalkeeper Adrian during the January transfer window, according to the Liverpool Echo. The Toffees opted against a move however after deciding to delay signing a new keeper until the summer.

The Spaniard has lost his place to Darren Randolph this season after a series of poor displays. The Hammers do have an option to extend his contract by a further two years, but it seems likely that they will allow his contract to expire, and let the 30 year oldĀ leave on a free transfer in July.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman is reportedly unhappy with his options in goal with Maarten Stekelenburg failing to impress, and Joe Robles re-establishing himself as the number keeper over the past few games.

West Ham meanwhile are reportedly lining up a summer move for Manchester City’s Joe Hart. The England international is currently on loan at Torino but will be available for a transfer at the end of the season.
