Five central midfielders who could replace Obiang if he leaves for Liverpool

|

5. Alen Halilovic

Croatian wonderkid Alen Halilovic has somewhat lost his way in recent times. The former Barcelona B player went out on loan to Sporting Gijon in 2015/16 and did quite well, but returned to the Catalan giants to learn he had no future at the club. He moved to Hamburg in 2016 but made little impact before being loaned to Las Palmas last month. The 5’7 playmaker has obvious potential if used correctly and offers useful versatility given his ability to play both behind the striker and in front of the defence. If Slaven Bilic can’t get the best out of him, no one can.
