West Ham are prepared to compromise with Marseille on Dimitri Payet in order to land both Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass and Brentford’s Scott Hogan, reports the Mirror.

Snodgrass is close to agreeing a deal to join the Hammers with a medical reportedly set for today but West Ham have failed to meet Brentford’s £15million valuation for Hogan. Manager Dean Smith was quoted by the Evening Standard as saying the forward won’t be leaving the club unless the Hammers make another bid

The Mirror say West Ham will reduce their demands for Payet by £5m to £30million in order to speed up negotiations so funds can be made available for a move for Hogan.

L’Equipe have reported today that Marseille are hopeful of completing a move for Payet before the end of the transfer window but £25m (€30m) seems to be their upper limit. Whether West Ham will agree to a deal that is £10million less than what they originally asked for is debatable.
