West Ham are keeping tabs on Ludogorets winger Jonathan Cafu, according to Sportal.it. Serie A side Lazio are also tracking the Brazilian after losing out to Lille for Ajax winger Anwar El Ghazi.
Ludogorets are reportedly holding out for €10million (£8.5m) but Lazio are said to only be prepared to offer €6million (£5m) for the 25 year old.
The Hammers are close to signing winger Robert Snodgrass from Hull City with a medical reportedly scheduled for today, ahead of a £10million transfer. Whether West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is interested in Cafu in addition to Snodgrass, or whether the Brazilian star was simply a backup if they missed out on the Scottish international, it is not known.
Cafu has had a very successful Champions League campaign for Ludogorets with four goals and five assists in 12 qualifying and group stage matches. He moved to Bulgaria from Sao Paulo in July 2015 and has played 53 times for the club, scoring 19 goals.
