Roma have been given the “green light” to sign West Ham winger Sofiane Feghouli, reports the Corriere Dello Sport, but they are waiting for the Hammers to sign a replacement before completing the deal.

The Italian newspaper say that Feghouli will join the Italian club when either a move for his direct replacement, Hull City’s Robert Snodgrass, or a loan offer for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, is finalised.

Today’s news that midfielder Dimitri Payet is refusing to play against Crystal Palace this weekend may mean the Hammers reconsider their position on Feghouli but the Italian media seem to be fairly confident that a move to Roma has been agreed.

West Ham have made a second bid of £5million for Snodgrass according to Sky Sports but there have been no new developments regarding whether the offer has been accepted. Considering the Scottish international’s contract situation, Hull will need to consider very carefully if they want to sell in this window or allow the player to leave for nothing in the summer.
