AC Milan are now the likeliest candidates to make a move for striker Simone Zaza, according to Sportmediaset TV (via tuttomercatoweb).
The Italian international is apparently set to return to Juventus in this window as the Hammers seek to cut short the Italian international’s loan spell. No announcement though has been made regarding the 25 year old’s future at the Hammers yet.
The forward was expected to finalise a move to Valencia in the coming days but that was placed in serious doubt after the club’s manager Cesare Prandelli resigned after claiming that promises had been broken regarding player recruitment.
Milan are seeking a new forward with forward Luiz Adriano expected to depart for Russia with Spartak Moscow looking to seal a deal for the Brazilian. The Italian giants were linked with Zaza a few months ago and their renewed interest is likely the result of the seeming collapse of the player’s transfer to Valencia.
