West Ham are “very interested” in signing Olympiakos central midfielder Luka Milivojevic according to the Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure.
Milivojevic played in Belgium for Anderlecht before joining the Greek Champions for €2.3million back in 2014. The 25 year old has gone to make 88 appearances over the past two years, and has become an important member of the first team as they sit top of the Greek Super League after 12 matches.
La Derniere Heure say that the Serbian international will be available for €10million or £8.5million in the January transfer window. Whether Hammers boss Slaven Bilic would sanction such an offer, it is not certain. West Ham are believed to have limited funds to spend next month, and the priority would appear to be a striker rather than a midfielder.
It looks as though Milivojevic is more likely a long term target for the Hammers with a bid next summer a higher possibility.
