Real Madrid have had a 80million Krona (£7m) bid rejected by AIK Solna for their forward Alexander Isak, according to Expressen. The Swedish newspaper’s columnist Daniel Kristofferson says that AIK have rejected the bid as they are aware of interest from West Ham, Bayern Munich and Chelsea who could also bid for the 17 year old.

Kristofferson reports that AIK Sporting Director Bjorn Wesstrom is looking for as much as 150million (£13m) Krona for the striker, but with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain pulling out of the race for the player, the Swedish club are said to be prepared to settle for between 90-100million kroner (£7.5m-£8.5m).

Expressen say that AIK are hoping for other clubs, including West Ham, to make bids for the player and that they expect a sale to happen before Christmas.

Real are still favourites as a major reason for their initial bid being rejected was down to the structure of payments and how much would be performance related add-ons, and the fact agent Vlado Lemic will be taking a sizeable cut. AIK are also looking for a deal whereby the player would be loaned back to them until at least the summer but the paper believes that none of the clubs interested are keen on that idea.
