West Ham United are looking at signing Roma goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski at the end of the season, according to tuttomercatoweb.com. The Italian website report that the Pole has impressed the Hammers with his performances this campaign.

Skorupski is currently on loan at Empoli for a second season, and has racked up 48 appearances since he made his debut against Vicenza back in 2015. The player has just one cap for Poland, and that came four years ago when he started a friendly against Macedonia.

The keeper is unlikely to get a look in at Roma when he returns to the Stadio Olimpico with manager Luciano Spalletti looking to sign his fellow countryman Wojciech Szczesny permanently from Arsenal.

Like Skorupski, Szczesny is currently in his second season on loan, and the Corriere Dello Sport newspaper has reported that the Gunners will demand £15million for the Polish international. The sale of Skorupski to West Ham could free up funds to make that deal possible.
