Everton are looking at signing Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson in the January transfer window, rivalling West Ham for the 24 year old’s signature.

The Mirror’s Adrian Kajumba is reporting Ronald Koeman would like to bring the player to Goodison Park but the Cherries will demand over £20million for the forward.

Eddie Howe’s team are continuing to defy expectations with their league form, and followed up their stunning 4-3 victory over Liverpool with a 1-0 win over Premier League champions Leicester City in mid week. The victory leaves Bournemouth tenth in the table with Wilson having contributing five goals in 13 starts so far this season.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is said to be on the lookout for a striker when the window opens next month. Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri are expected to depart the club in January, and with Diafra Sakho still out injured, it leaves the Hammers boss with just two recognised out and out centre forwards, Andy Carroll and Ashley Fletcher, available for selection.
