If there’s one thing West Ham arguably need more than anything else in the January transfer window, it has to be a striker that actually knows where the goal is.
Whilst the east London side have not been at the best for large portions of this season they would have certainly been helped out by having a player up top that can find the net but so far things have not gone according to plan this season in that area.
Simone Zaza is still yet to score and the likes of Jonathan Calleri have barely even managed to play they’re so underwhelming, reflecting pretty poorly on Slaven Bilic and his dealings in the summer.
Nevertheless, you’d expect him to try and redeem himself as soon as the window opens and some rumours suggest he may try to do so with Stevan Jovetic.
