Dean Ashton
Ashton was very unfortunate with injuries and, had he not had them, he surely would have been a far more prominent figure for West Ham and, arguably, even England. He may not have been the quickest of forwards but technically he was one of the best around and would always be a threat in and around the box. He scored some delightful looking goals in an unlucky career.
