West Ham have had a tough time of it this season, it doesn’t need us to mention that.
Injuries and players lacking form have led the Hammers to start the campaign in stuttering fashion with the likes of Mark Noble, Winston Reid and Cheikhou Kouyate all taking their time to get going.
Things are starting to look slightly better, though, but one area still needs work – up front.
So far the Hammers strikeforce has not fired with Andy Carroll injured, Andre Ayew missing a lot of games and Simone Zaza failing to find the net. Slaven Bilic has had to play Michail Antonio up front at times but that was always going to be temporary and you feel, that, once the strikers get going the Hammers will be flying.
It makes you think, though, what could the Hammers be doing if they had one of their best strikers from the last ten years right now. Here are the three we think would be at the top of that list…
