In case you’ve missed it, the speculation around Dimitri Payet’s future has kicked up some significant notches in recent days.
The former Marseille man has become a West Ham hero since his move in 2015 and was easily their best player of the season last year but has thrown all of that into jeopardy after refusing to rule out a move away from the club as early as January.
The Frenchman has seen some performances criticised this year with the club still trying to find their feet but he has also produced the magic we’re used to seeing from him, too.
He scored a sublime solo effort against Middlesbrough whilst he produced an audacious rabona against Watford highlighting that he’s still got that stardust.
Of course, then, he’d be a big miss if he were to leave but we reckon targeting these five would help soften such a hard hit…
