Besiktas president Fikret Orman has said there is no chance that winger Gokhan Tore will return to the Turkish champions in the January transfer window.

The 24 year old joined West Ham on a season long loan in the summer but reports yesterday claimed that manager Slaven Bilic had met with Orman about Tore and was open to the possibility of cutting the player’s time at the London stadium short and sending him back to his parent club. Orman is quoted by the Sun as saying that this will not happen:

“We will definitely get one or two players in because of injuries but 100 per cent there is not a chance that Tore will come back to Besiktas.”

Tore has started three league matches this season, and is currently sidelined with a thigh injury, but he is expected to return to full fitness after the international break.

The Sun say however say that West Ham officials see the loan move as disastrous and are willing to write off the £2.5million loan fee they paid Besiktas to bring in Tore back in July.
