Adrian suffered another unfortunate chapter in what’s been an, up to now, fairly disappointing season for him yesterday afternoon.
With the Hammers 1-0 up and looking pretty comfortable against Stoke the Spaniard stormed from his line trying to stop Jon Walters’ cross into Bojan Krkic but completely missed it and the Potters forward duly finished it off.
It was a real rush of blood for the ‘keeper who seems to be having a bit of a crisis in confidence this season and it makes you wonder how long can Slaven Bilic persist with him in such poor form.
Last season he looked like a pretty decent option in between the sticks but in costing the Hammers the three points yesterday he’s really put himself in negative light.
Bilic, then, may decide to look for a replacement in January and so here are five we think would fit the bill nicely…
