With November now under way and the Christmas period on it’s way too just after that before we know it the January transfer window will be upon us.
It doesn’t seem like long ago that West Ham were confirming the signings of Simone Zaza, Andre Ayew and Jonathan Calleri but with the season now fully in gear the verdict is already being drawn up on some of the signings.
For many, this summer wasn’t as successful as last summer when the likes of Dimitri Payet arrived but the hope is they will begin to come good as confidence improves.
Nevertheless, it would be foolish to suggest that Slaven Bilic would not be looking for improvements come January and he may be tempted to go for players that are already accustomed to this league to avoid the bedding in period we’ve seen some suffer from this season.
