Polish publication Przeglad Sportowy yesterday claimed that West Ham United are one of three English clubs with a proposal on a table for Rennes winger Kamil Grosicki, and according to French newspaper Ouest France, it is very clear that the Polish international wants a move to England and the Premier League.

Reacting to the news about West Ham’s interest in the 28 year old, the French publication posted a quote from Grosicki which they say was made right before Rennes’ match with Angers last weekend. When asked about the move to Burnley which collapsed on deadline day in August, and his subsequent comments, Grosicki said:

“I don’t think it has already been forgotten that I gave an interview to a journalist in Poland. Now, I am in Rennes and I focus on the game with Stade Rennais but my dream is my dream (to play in the Premier League). I hope I will be there one day.”

Grosicki’s record for Rennes since his aborted move to Turfmoor has been pretty decent. In ten Ligue One matches this season, he has scored three goals and made one assist. Rennes have had a fairly good start to the season themselves and find themselves sixth after 13 games with 21 points.
