West Ham winger Gokhan Tore is expected to return to Besiktas in the January transfer window, according to Turkish website Haberturk. The 24 year old was signed on a season long loan from the Turkish champions in the summer but he has started just three league matches so far this campaign.

Besiktas president Fikret Orman had dinner with Bilic last week in London, according to the website, and they discussed Tore’s playing situation with the Hammers. Bilic is reported to have said that he would not stand in the player’s way if he wants to leave and return home when the transfer window reopens.

The Turkish international is currently out injured with a thigh strain but will likely return to full fitness after the international break.  The winger was taken off at half time against Manchester City in the 3-1 defeat back in late August. He was then benched for the following match against Watford and was not even named in the squad for the match against Southampton.

He did return to the starting lineup against Middlesbrough in the 1-1 draw at the start of October but he has since been out of contention with injury.
