Sevilla are interested in re-signing striker Carlos Bacca from AC Milan, according to Seville’s local newspaper the Estadio Deportivo. The Spanish publication reports that sporting director Monchi is eyeing up a return for the Colombian in January.

The 30 year old has scored six goals in 12 games for the Rossoneri this campaign but had a high profile touchline spat with manager Vincenzo Montella when he was substituted late in the match in the 1-0 win against Pescara at the end of last month.

Montella was quick to play down the altercation in a press conference after the match but it has increased speculation about the forward’s future at the San Siro.

Bacca was subject to a £25million bid from West Ham in the summer but the striker stalled on the move, indicating a reluctance to leave for England, but it was expected that the Hammers would make another attempt in the January transfer window to reinforce their striking options.

Slaven Bilic may not have just Sevilla to contend with as his former Sevilla boss Unai Emery is also said to want to sign him for Paris Saint-Germain.
