Spanish club Valencia and Bundesliga side Wolfsburg have entered the race for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini, according to Plaza Deportiva. West Ham have also been linked with the Italian, and the Spanish website say Gabbiadini has fallen out of favour with Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri as he doesn’t fit the club’s style of play.

Valencia boss Cesare Prandelli is aware of Gabbiadini’s talents since he was boss of Italy’s national side, but the La Liga side are also interested in West Ham’s own Italian forward Simone Zaza.

Wolfsburg meanwhile have been interested in Gabbiadini since last January when the 24 year old was backup to star striker Gonzalo Higuain. Much will however depend on Napoli as they are looking for a new forward in the January window before selling Gabbiadini.

Again, Zaza has been linked closely with a switch to Naples but Maurizio Sarri is also believed to be looking at Genoa’s Leonardo Pavoletti, Newcastle’s Aleksandar Mitrovic and Lazio forward Ciro Immobile.
