Valencia are only willing to sign striker Simone Zaza on loan until the end of the season, according to Gazzamercato. This however will cause some major headaches for both West Ham and the player’s parent club Juventus.

In the summer the Hammers agreed to pay a €5million loan fee, along with another €20million if the 25 year old reaches 14 games. With West Ham willing to let the player go before he reaches that milestone, it means Juve will miss out on the substantial transfer fee they expected from the Hammers. This will be particularly problematic as the Serie A champions would like to see Zaza leave on a permanent basis.

For a loan move to Valencia to go ahead then, according to Gazzamercato, Juve will only agree to cancel their agreement with West Ham if they set up a similar agreement with the Spanish club whereby Zaza joins the La Liga side permanently for the same fee agreed by West Ham.

Whether Valencia agree to this is not known, and this could allow another club, such as Napoli, to make a move for the player.
