The latest rumour doing the rounds concerning West Ham is that they may be about to swap Simone Zaza for Manolo Gabbiadini of Napoli as the club aim to look for a striker that will score goals in the Premier League this season.
It simply hasn’t worked for the on loan Zaza who has failed to hit the net once in the top flight this season and looks as though he’ll be heading back to his home country with a pretty tarnished reputation here in England.
It looks as though, then, Gabbiadini is Slaven Bilic’s next attempt at resolving the troublesome striker position at the club with the Croatian looking for a more reliable option than the seemingly ever-injured Andy Carroll.
Gabbiadini, though, only has two goals this season from twelve appearances in all competitions this season and that kind of record doesn’t exactly inspire confidence ahead of any prospective move.
We reckon, then, West Ham should be looking at these three Serie A stars instead…
